I’ve been a little distant from my blog this last week, partly due to the mad dash to get the shop open and partly because I decided to build – from scratch – a counter/desk for the shop because I couldn’t find one  that I liked and that suited the store… and I didn’t want to write about it here in case it fell apart (literally!).

But Needles in the Hay is officially open for business, and today the books have arrived:

We also have 3 (only 3!!) copies of the winter/spring issue of Knitscene… Kind of a surprise to me, or I would have ordered more. So don’t wait!

And a quick thank you – but very heartfelt! – to everyone who helped with the opening, everyone who has sent words of encouragement… It’s been a great start so far! 🙂

Oh… save me a magazine. I’ll be in after work tomorrow to pick it up.

I heart Knitscene. If you’ve still got any left when I make it there again I’ll snap one up, otherwise I’ll sneak a peek at someone else’s. (Please, someone else!)
