The Herringbone Rib socks are done!

I love these socks, especially now that they’re finished! This pattern works fantastically with this yarn (the Misti Alpaca Handpainted Sock), but boy is it time consuming. Lots of slipping stitches back and forth. But from the look of it now, I’d say it was worth it!

Since finishing these pups, I’ve been working away on pair number five: Milkmaid’s Stocking by Cat Bordhi (another Ravelry link – sorry!), in the Louet Gems Merino Sock yarn in Cream and Navy. It’s a toe-up sock, and my first Bordhi design. It’s been interesting, but not at the expense of speed – here’s sock one:

    It’s hard to know which is prettier – the socks or your gorgeous shoes.

    Your socks are ridiculously impressive, and I adore your shoes, too! I’m a very timid sock knitter, so seeing all your lovely socks as I scroll down the page is like a sock wonderland!
