Where does the time go?

I’m settling in to do a follow-up October post… and it’s suddenly somehow November?? Can someone explain how that happens?

Regardless, I hope you all had a marvelous All Hallows’ Eve! I’m more of a Christmas girl myself (as you are soon to find out for yourselves!), but I did take the opportunity to don a new hat:

deer hat with little antlers

This is the “Deer with Little Antlers Hat” by Stephanie Dosen (aka Tiny Owl Knits), available here on Ravelry.com. I altered the pattern slightly to use a worsted weight instead of a chunky, as I had my heart set on using the Malabrigo Worsted in “Pearl Grey”.

Recent additions to the store include:

trekking xxl - new colours fall 2010

New colours for Trekking XXL!

zauberballs - fall 2010

Zauberballs!

zauberball crazy - fall 2010

“Crazy” Zauberballs!

Also worth noting is tonight’s Kniterary Night at the Peterborough Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. – it’s completely free, bring your current project, and meet some of your fellow needlearts-inclined citizens. Tonight’s presentation topic is Knitting and Crochet Together – how to add crochet edgings to your knitting projects… It’s bound to be a fun and informative night!

Simply gorgeous! I hope I don’t sound silly for saying this, but would you ever consider making one to sell? I found this on Etsy, completely fell in love– aaaand realized it was just the pattern. No one I know is an avid knitter (or a knitter at all actually), and you seem to have interpreted it beautifully.
