Really?

oh no!

Yep… I’m afraid so… But there’s actually a surprising amount of knitting you can do in 18 days! If you’re looking for inspiration (or gift ideas for yourself) we’ve just received a fresh batch of patterns… take a look!

new pattern books
a couple new books, and a couple favourites that are back in stock!

new single patterns
New single patterns by Ysolda Teague and Cosmicplutoknits!

rose pink
Rose Pink! Rose Red hat pattern knit up with two skeins of the Diamond Luxury Mulberry Merino (50/50 merino silk blend)…

smith!
And a new friend, little Smith, to keep me company!

We also have the awesomeness that is Indigodragonfly yarn in two sock weights on the shelf… but not for long! These colourways (and their hilarious names) are entirely irrestitable!

And, introducing our new Analog Wishlist System:
Analog Wish List System
Stop by the shop and get your own little card, write down a few items you might like for Christmas, then send in your family and friends! They can ask for your card, and at least be reassured that two skeins of Malabrigo *is* in fact enough! (enough Malabrigo?? preposterous! what am I thinking?) 🙂

We’re in Christmas knitting crunch time, my friends. Good luck! I’ll be back soon with the new class schedule (finally!) and more news from Needles in the Hay!

Love this! I knit a whole fingerless mitt today (Vancouver Fog in stash 220) with a fever and a cough! There is Christmas hope.
