Christmas Eve!

Who’s finished their Christmas knitting??

(sadly, not me! Why does this happen every year?!?)

In truth, I’m in “foot country” (as Glenna would say) on my last Christmas sock, so it’s reasonable to think it’ll be done in time for tomorrow morning! But as I begin to pack up for a little break this Christmas (and please do see the Hours page on our website for our holiday hours!) I’ve caught myself in a case of start-itis… I want to knit ALL THE THINGS! Some part of my brain has tricked itself into thinking that time will magically expand and I will be able to start and finish multiple garments in mere days… We’ll see how that goes!

Christmas break packing...

There’s lots of exciting things coming up for the New Year. We finally have a class schedule posted on the website – here. And I’m hatching a plan for a new year-long knitting challenge, details coming very soon… For now, glad tidings! comfort! joy! much merry eggnog consumption! and extra knitting time… 🙂

LOL I didn’t finish my Christmas knitting either but got around the stress by getting specific requests from some of my knittees and am working on them now…..hmmm….a new tradition! Happy New Year to you and Needles in the Hay!
