A little late…

Or maybe a lot – I’m a month behind! At least in the blogging, not actually in the knitting.

In August, for PINK, I made this:

wham bam 3

It’s a Wham Bam Thank You Lamb cowl! In that lovely Malabrigo Rasta… Which of course was so lovely, I needed a neckwarmer for myself too:

hear the bees?

This is the Rasta Neckwarmer, also in Malabrigo Rasta, with knitted-and-duplicate-stitched buttons made with the Merit Badge pattern:

Super sweet! I’m almost done September’s project with mere hours to spare, hopefully I won’t take forever to take photos of it!

Oh, and P.S. We have lots of new stuff in the store, with more arriving every week. Recent additions include Tanis Fiber Arts (with our last run of Fiddlehead Mitten kits!), Indigodragonfly, Louet Gems Sock yarn and new colours in Noro and Debbie Bliss’ Baby Cashmerino. More updates next week!

do you carry the book and yarn for the Rasta Neckwarmer in your store? It is perfect for one of my Christmas recipients!

I did have copies of Malabrigo Book 3, which featured that Rasta Neckwarmer pattern, but they’ve sold out and the book is on backorder. I’m going to try to get more copies before Christmas, but it doesn’t look very promising at this point… But there are a lot of other cowl patterns that the Rasta can be used for, check out the “pattern ideas” page for it on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/malabrigo-yarn-rasta/patterns

Loved your neckwarmers and the buttons – very cute! Love the colours with your grey sweater.
