Fuzzy Bunnies

This week we received some Angora yarn! (fuzzy bunny wool!)

So, naturally, I’ve been scheming schemes and hatching plans for what types of things would be Angora-worthy… Here’s the short list:

1. Susie Roger’s Reading Mitts:

Sweet little fingerless mitts with picot-hems and a little bit of lace detail to boot. One pair would require two balls of our Schulana Angora…

2. Ysolda Teague’s Rose Red:

We have a sample of this sweet little hat in the store, knit up in Diamond Luxury Collection Mulberry Merino 50/50 merino-silk blend, but as you can see above, it was originally designed for fuzzy angora!

3. Cirilia Rose’s Lop Headband:

An adorable one-skein project with vintage appeal! This is also a free pattern available through Ravelry here!

In other news, the final meet-up of the Lakeshore Shawl Knit-Along is this Sunday, September 30th, and as you can see from the photo below, I’m not finished! Eek! Time to get stitching!
