Shop news roundup!

– Next Thursday, February 13th, and Thursday, February 27th, we’re running our classic Beginner Refresher/Intro to Knitting in the Round class. Whether you’ve been working on flat pieces in knit and purl for a while and are looking to expand your skills, or have been away from knitting and need a refresher on some of the basics, this class covers all bases to get you back in the knitting game with the skills needed to tackle more challenging projects. Plus, by the end, you get a hat! That YOU knit! It’s 7-9 both nights, $40 not including materials.

– The last two Wednesdays of February are reserved for our Crochet II class, featuring more advanced techniques for crocheting garments and accessories in the round. Choose one of four potential patterns, all free on Ravelry, and Monica will guide you through the process of reading, understanding, and executing the pattern instructions – check out our website – needlesinthehay.ca/classes.html – for the pattern list and for the calender of all of our classes!

And finally, a restock of our super-popular yarn packs for Adrian Bizilia’s  Fiddlehead Mittens!

Also, tomorrow is the beginning of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and while I’m not a *huge* sports fan, I do love any opportunity to justify watching a lot of television and doing a LOT of knitting. To celebrate the start of the games and hopefully catch some highlights from the Opening Ceremonies, local knitters are invited to meet up at Champs Sports Bar at 203 Simcoe Street tomorrow evening at 6:30! Bring your knitting! And if you want to cast-on a new project to challenge yourself in the spirit of the Olympics, check out the Ravellenic Games on Ravelry!

It’s very easy to find out any topic on web
as compared to textbooks, as I found this paragraph
    at this web page.
