Last week the shop was closed because I was on vacation… in New York!

Walked it off on the Brooklyn Bridge! (seen here with my travel companion, K., who also took most of these pictures!)

And of course, touched some yarn at Purl Soho!

All in all, it was great! Thank you to all my customers for understanding why the shop was closed for a week – even yarn shop owners need a little getaway every once in a while! 🙂

New in the shop this week:

The Fall(!!!) 2015 issue of Knitscene just arrived, as well as Veera Valimaki‘s long-awaited book, Color Wheel Knits, finally published in english!!

It’s only Wednesday and it’s been such a great week already! If you’ve signed up for our summer knitalong for “Halligarth“, the first meet-up is this Saturday – see you at 1 p.m.!
