Peerie is worsted-spun fingering weight yarn that was built for fine gauge fabrics and colourwork. The extensive palette of painterly colors provides inspiration for projects small and large.
Brooklyn Tweed sourced pure Merino from Nevada and Utah — their finest fibre yet at 20.5 microns. Fabrics made from Peerie feel soft and supple against the skin.
The worsted-spun construction aligns the fibers horizontally to create a smooth yarn with just the right amount of twist and a perfect amount of bounce as you work. The 4-ply structure means textured stitches and lace sing as they are worked to create a fabric with excellent drape and stitch definition.
