Never touched a knitting needle in your life? This class is for you! We’ll start at the very beginning with an easy cast-on, and get you started with the knit stitch for a “garter stitch” mug cozy. Take your knitting with you and when you return the following week we’ll bind off the cozys and cover a few more basics like the purl stitch and how to read yarn labels and patterns.

An introduction to sock knitting for advanced beginners. Understanding of the knit and purl stitches, basic decreases (K2tog & SSK), casting on, binding off, and knitting in the round recommended. This class will focus on how to turn a heel, as well as understanding sock patterns.

This is a beginner class to learn wet felting techniques. You will be working with hot water, soap, a resist and some muscle to create a felted bowl. Felting is good clean fun but you can get wet so wear something dip dry or bring an apron.
