Arbor is a DK-weight workhorse yarn, spun worsted for superior strength and stitch definition and dyed in a nuanced palette of 30 solid colors.
Purebred Targhee sheep from Montana and South Dakota lend us their distinctive fleece, a finewool with the softness of merino enhanced by longwool genetics for added durability. Jagger Brothers, an historic mill in southern Maine, spins the fiber into a round and springy 3-ply that loves to cable and shows textural stitchwork to maximum advantage. Saco River Dyehouse, an organically certified dyeworks operating nearby, provides the custom skein-dyed palette with minimal impact on the planet.
Thanks to its worsted construction, Arbor produces a denser, sturdier fabric than our woolen-spun yarns. The fibers have been combed straight and carefully aligned before spinning, rather than jumbled to trap air. Garments knit from Arbor will weigh more and drape more heavily than those knit from Loft or Shelter.

Inspired by the breathtaking scenery of Ireland's Northern Headlands, Arranmore Light is a finer weight cousin to the popular Arranmore yarn. Arranmore Light is spun in a mill that traces its roots to the tweed industry of 19th century County Donegal. Blending cashmere and silk with fine merino wool created an authentic tweed yarn of the finest quality. With a color palette reminiscent of the wild Irish coastlands, this dk weight yarn was designed for makers appreciating the best of luxury and tradition.
A classic DK weight yarn, Luma is inspired by the mood and light found in mid-latitude savannas—grassland ecosystems with open canopies allowing plenty of sunlight. Daily life in mid-latitude climates, whether in the drier Mediterranean or temperate Great Plains, are best handled with a layered approach to clothing. Plant-based fibers mixed with silk and wool provide a built-in layer of warmth in winter yet lightness when required in warmer temperatures. The Luma palette includes soft neutrals and bright shades of pink, blue, and green.
