SLAY the UFOs KAL 2024

Back by popular demand is our SLAY THE UFOs KAL! Every one of us has that poor forgotten project, an unfinished object, that got shoved to the back of the closet or forsaken for a newer sexier make. If you’re like me, maybe you have a pile of, oh.. 4 finished sweaters that need blocking. 

It’s time to dig out the UFO that is the biggest challenge for you, and finish it together with us! If you finish your UFO by March 8, 2024, we’ll send you a 15% off discount code for your next project as a reward.

Here’s how it works:

1. Find your UFO, take a pic and post it to Facebook or Instagram and tag us @needlesinthehay and tell us the story of your UFO. This must be done by February 13th, 2024 and will be your contest registration.
2. Take a pic wearing your beautifully FINISHED Object and tag us. If you post your pic by March 8, 2024 we’ll get in touch with a 15% off discount code just for you! 
3. Your 15% off code will be valid for one order and must be used before July 31st, 2024. We hope you’ll use it to start up a shiny new project to reward yourself for slaying that UFO.

We’ll be hosting the KAL on our Facebook Group and in person! If you aren’t already a member, request to join and we’ll add you. This is the place to post your project updates, admire other people’s work, and ask questions and get advice on how to finish your project.

In-person meet ups will take place in the Hayloft Studio. Come to see what everyone else is working on, knit together, and to get help with your UFO. If you have a project that you have no idea where you left off, we can help you get sorted out and headed in the right direction.

UFO Meet-ups:

February 10, 2024 - 11am - 1pm
March 2, 2024 - 11am -1pm

The Hayloft studio is located at 381 Water St. On Water St., Look for a very tall red door just to the left (south) of Watson and Lou. Enter through the door and take the stairs to the 3rd floor. We have the entire floor, so walk right in.

You may also want to bring a pair of indoor shoes, or slippers as we will be asking people to remove wet boots so we can keep the space clean and cozy for everyone. We have tea making supplies on the premises, but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks as well.
