Speedy Makes for Gifting
With the holiday season right around the corner, no doubt some of you are considering whipping up some last minute gifts for your loved ones. There’s nothing quite like hand made.
Here’s where I come in - I’ve put together some quick, easy, and stylish project ideas that shouldn’t take much more than an evening or two to complete. Most of these patterns are FREE good quality designs.
Cardo Holiday Hats
Yarn: Cardo 2 skeins total, in two different colours

cozy knit hats in 5 different stripe options in our bulky-weight Cardo yarn! Cardo in Putty is the main color in each hat, then you can play with different stripe sequences in a contrast color. Top it all off with a big festive pom pom! Pattern is a free Ravelry download. I’m knitting the Timbo vest with this yarn currently and it strikes the perfect balance of softness, durability and stitch definition.
Christina Hat and Cowl Set
Yarn: Ushya, 1 skein for hat, 2 skeins for cowl|

We just received this gorgeous light and fluffy chainette merino wool. The photos don’t do it justice - the yarn comes in a gorgeous array of deeply heathered colours. We have 20 Christina pattern leaflets at the shop that we will include with your Ushya purchase for FREE until they run out. Finish your hat with one of our snap-on Faux Fur PomPoms.
Winnipeg Hat
Yarn: 1 skein of Woolstok North

One skein is enough to make this hat with earflaps and a giant Pom Pom! Or got simple and stylish with a plain toque.
Cashmina Cotton Cowl
Yarn: Cashmina Cotton, 2 balls
https://ravel.me/cashmina-cotton-cowl
My debut pattern design! This soft and cozy cowl is the perfect accessory to throw on under your coat. A quick and satisfying knit, this cowl is perfect for adventurous beginners, and experienced knitters looking for a relaxing and speedy project.
Cashmina Cotton is light as air and buttery soft. The gently striping colourways do all the work, so you can sit back and enjoy the process.
Fireside Slippers
Yarn: I recommend either Woolstok North, or Ushya. 1 or 2 skeins depending on size.

A Crochet pattern for good measure! These adorable slippers can be completed in one night. I crocheted one whole slipper in 2 hours and I’m a crochet newbie. The double sole is satisfyingly cushy and sturdy. A treat for your feet.
