Summer Sip-Along at the Only

Summer Sip-Along at the Only

Have a hard time getting motivated to knit in the summer? Love sitting on patios with great people? Obviously the answer is yes to both!

To ease you into summer knitting and help you get those long queued projects on the go we are starting our summer sip-a-long: a weekly knitting group on the patio at the Only where you can knit whatever you want from 4:15 to 6ish every Saturday in July and August! The only is located at 216 Hunter St W.

During the months of July and August, our Tuesday Night Purlez-Vous group will be going on hiatus. We hope you will join us for the Sip-Along during the summer months, and Purlez-Vous will reconvene again on September 11 after the first first week of school.

The summer is the perfect chance to knit for yourself or take on something challenging, with the holidays far away you are free to knit at your own pace. Ethan will be there every week for any questions you have, and Deanna will be there to hang out from time to time as well! Come on in and let us help you plan a project or pick from our staff suggestions!

The best part... We have a prize! Post a photo of your WIP on Instagram or Facebook tagging #NITHSipAlong, attend the Sip Along, or visit us in the shop with your WIP. You'll be entered into a draw for this kit for the Brig Hat and Scarf set. The kit includes pattern, 3 skeins of Shelter in Birdbook (enough to make both the hat and scarf) and an adorable stitch marker tin. The prize is pictured above.

 Here are some project suggestions!
