Availability: Translation missing: en.general.icons.icon_check_circle icon Only 2 left!

Instructor: Sarah Deeth

In Sarah’s completely biased opinion, nothing is better than sock yarn, or knitting a pair of socks. Knitted socks are usually the final project in most “learn-to-knit” books, and that’s because socks encompass a multitude of different skills and steps. In this class we break down those steps and tackle socks one stitch at a time!

Socks will be taught to you on your preferred method for knitting in the round : double pointed needles, magic loop or Addi flexiflips.

If you are already comfortable knitting in the round with double pointed needles and want to learn the magic loop technique this is a great time to try it!

During the class we will be making a worsted weight baby sock to cover all of the main sock knitting techniques. By the end of week two you'll have all the skills to move forward and cast on a full sized sock.

Pre-requisites: Students should be able to knit and purl, with some knowledge on knitting in the round.

Materials: One Sock Leaflet included. Please bring a ball of worsted weight yarn in a light colour with corresponding needles, either Double pointed needles, circular needles with a long cord (40" preferably) for magic loop or addi flexiflips!
*9" circulars will not work for this class*
