These hat, sweater, and mitten ornaments are inspired by brioche knitting and are sure to add some knitting inspired flair to your Christmas Tree!
Katrinkles Stitchable Ornaments make a great handmade gift and can even be used as gift tags. Gift one to a crafty friend or keep it for yourself. The holes in each ornament are left unstitched so you can embroider the color work details using a needle and yarn or embroidery floss. The possibilities for how to adorn the yoke and cuffs of these little sweaters are limitless.
The Ornament Kit includes:
- An unstitched Ornament blank
- 7" length of cotton cord to use for hanging your ornament
- a size 24 tapestry needle
- 8 colors of embroidery floss (a total of 8 yards)
- Felt backing to hide your stitches
When writing on your Sweater, Ultra Fine Point Sharpie markers or Micron markers work great. Thicker Sharpies or other non-permanent markers may feather or bleed on the grain of the wood. (Markers are not included).
