Now Hiring Casual Part-Time

Do you have a love for the fibre arts and can never get enough yarn? This may be the right job for you!

We are looking for a knowledgeable and reliable casual part-time staff person. If you are an avid knitter/crocheter with excellent customer service skills, a knack for finding the perfect yarn for a project, and are available during store hours, please submit your cover letter and resume to Deanna Guttman by email (info [at] needlesinthehay.ca). The position will remain open until it has been filled. The rate of pay is $15 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Flexible availability: able to work weekdays and weekends on short notice.
• Strong ability and knowledge in knitting. Knowledge in crochet, needle felting, weaving, and/or embroidery is a bonus.
• A love of natural fibre yarns such as wool, alpaca, cotton, linen, and silk.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
