Shetland Supreme 2 ply Jumper Weight is a natural woolen spun yarn, from the finest Shetland natural shades of fleece, using no dyes. Carefully hand sorted for quality and colour, scoured to the highest standards thus giving the user a superb quality, environmentally friendly yarn, kind to the end user and our planet. The distinctive names for these yarns are from the Shetland dialect and sometimes have a Norse connection.
Some shades are as they come off the sheep and a number are blended from the natural colours. As this is an undyed range we strongly advise getting enough for your project at one time as dye lots can vary immensely.
Supreme Jumper Weight can be knitted together with the Dyed 2ply Jumper Weight - the weights and tension suggest it is thicker but this is due to the lack of processing meaning the yarn is very open and airy.
Please Note: Shade 2005 is Shetland Black - this is not a true black, but a natural very dark brown.
